A new day is a song by the German band Juli . It appeared in October 2006 on their second album of the same name, A New Day, and was released as a single in September 2007.

Emergence

Singer Eva Briegel revealed that at least parts of the song came to her mind during a concert by Sportfreunde Stiller . Like all tracks on the album, which was released on October 13, 2006, Ein neue Tag was recorded in Mohrmann's studio in Bochum , where the band worked on the album from November 2005 to July 2006.

publication

After This Life , We Both and Torn , A New Day was the fourth and final single from the album of the same name. The single was released on September 28, 2007, at the same time as the album Ein neue Tag - live and the DVD of the same name. Therefore, two tracks from the live album appeared on the single, which were recorded on February 28, 2007 at a concert in Münster . In addition, the song Stolen , recorded by Dashboard Confessional with Eva Briegel as a guest singer , which was released as a single in July 2007, was published again here.

Music video

The official music video for Ein neue Tag consists of a compilation of recordings from the live DVD, which, however, have been severely alienated. Most of the video is black and white ; colored animation effects are reminiscent of the paper strip optics in which the album Ein neue Tag and its singles were designed. Directed by Sven Sindt and Dominic Bünning.
