Electric feeling is a song by the German band Juli from 2010. It was released as the first single from their third album In Love .

Singer Eva Briegel explains the meaning of the song as follows:
“The song is about the moment when something changes. When you can get out of a rigidity, when you have been passive for a long time, frozen, have not moved, when you then notice a spark is coming, such an initial spark, and you can breathe deeply and are flexible again. It's an electrical feeling. It is a bit like an electric surge, it picks and tingles. On the other hand, the song title goes well with the record because we use a lot of electronic elements and have moved away from the earthy sound. "

Electric Feeling was released on August 27, 2010 as the pre-single of the album In Love , which was released on September 17, 2010. The band presented the song among others on 18./19. September in the Saturday evening show Beat the Raab on ProSieben.
The single was only released as a 2-track version. In addition to the single version, this includes an acoustic version of Electric Feeling as a B-side .
Music video
The official music video for Electric Feeling was filmed in late July 2010. It was made under the direction of Chrsn from the boy scouting and with Sascha Wolfram at the camera. The filming location was the Havel studios in Berlin. The video shows Eva Briegel at the toilet in front of the bathroom mirror, with the other band members gradually joining them. The singer describes the content of the video as follows:
"The video is about going out: get ready, look in the mirror and then just start off."

Charts and chart placements
On September 10, 2010, Elektrisches Emotion rose to number 12 in the official German single charts, which was also the highest position that the song reached. It stayed in the charts for almost six months until the beginning of March 2011; More than three years later, on May 24, 2013, it entered the charts at number 94 for a week. In Austria, where the song also entered the charts on September 10th, the top position only reached number 21 on October 22nd. In Switzerland, the song did not reach the charts.

Sesame Street version
In 2011, ARD produced a series of clips entitled Sesame Street Presents: Ernie & Bert Songs in which well-known pop and rock musicians (including Herbert Grönemeyer and Lena ) each have one of their hits with a new text together with the characters Ernie and Bert from Sesame Street presented. The band Juli contributed a new version of Electric Feeling under the title Come out at last . In the video, Eva Briegel and Bert try to get Ernie, who is playing on the computer, to play outdoors. The other band members can now be seen on their instruments. The clip was first time on 8 December 2011 at KI.KA broadcast.
