The Eipenke in the Harz Mountains is an approximately 3.5 km long, left and orographically eastern tributary of the Söse near Osterode in the district of Göttingen in Lower Saxony .

The Eipenke rises in the Upper Harz in the Harz Nature Park . Its source is south of the Sösestause lake and east of Osterode am Harz in the southwestern foothills of the Auf dem Acker mountain ridge ( 865.1  m ) between the northern Wüstentalskopf (approx.  540  m ) and the southern Schindelkopf (approx.  629  m ) at approx. 445  m ü. NN . It flows westward through the Osteroder city forest and , after passing the Sösekopf (also called Sösenkopf ; 423.1  m ) to the south, flows into the Osteroder district of Scheerenberg at around 255  m above sea level. NN in the Rhume tributary Söse .
