El Arbi Hillel Soudani ( Arabic العربي هلال سوداني, DMG al-ʿArabī Hilāl Sūdānī ; Born November 25, 1987 in Chlef ) is an Algerian football player . The striker is under contract with the Greek first division club Olympiacos Piraeus and plays for the Algerian national team .

Career

Soudani began his career in his hometown with ASO Chlef , for whom he made his debut in the Algerian first division in 2005/06. In the 2010/11 season he won the Algerian championship with his club and was the league's top scorer with 18 goals.

At the beginning of August 2011, he moved to the Portuguese club Vitória Guimarães . On August 28, 2011 he made his debut for Vitória in the Primeira Liga against SC Beira-Mar .

After he had drawn attention to himself through this award and consistently good performance, he made his debut on June 4, 2011 for the Algerian national football team in the game against Morocco , in which he was substituted on for Rafik Djebbour . On May 26, 2012, he scored his first international goal in a friendly against Niger .

On May 27, 2013 Soudani signed a four-year contract with the Croatian record champions Dinamo Zagreb . With the team he was four times Croatian champion and three times cup winner. In his last season in Croatia he was also top scorer in the Croatian first division in 2017/18 .

In June 2018, Soudani moved to the English second division club Nottingham Forest .
