Andreas Bouchalakis ( Greek Ανδρέας Μπουχαλάκης ; born April 5, 1993 in Iraklio ) is a Greek football player who is currently under contract with the Greek first division club Olympiacos Piraeus .

Career

Bouchalakis began his career in his hometown at Ergotelis . For the club from Heraklion he made his debut in the Super League in December 2011 when he came on as a substitute for Michalis Fragoulakis on matchday 13 of the 2011/12 season against Doxa Dramas in stoppage time .

With Ergotelis, Bouchalakis rose to the end of the season in the Football League . After only one season, however, the promotion succeeded. In the summer of 2013 he moved to the neo-league competitor Olympiacos . For the 2013/14 season, however, he was loaned back to Ergotelis.

From the 2014/15 season , Bouchalakis finally came to Olympiacos. He made his international debut for Piraeus in November 2014 when he was brought into play in the 72nd minute for Alejandro Damián Domínguez in the Champions League group game against Atlético Madrid .

With Olympiakos Bouchalakis was able to become Greek champion in 2015 , 2016 and 2017 .

On July 27, 2017, the English second division Nottingham Forest announced the commitment of Bouchalakis and equipped him with a three-year contract.

National team

Bouchalakis first played for the Greek U-19 team in 2012 . With U-19 Greece he made it to the finals at the European Championships in 2012 , where they failed to Spain .

In 2013 he took part in the World Cup with the U-20 team , where they made it to the round of 16. That year Bouchalakis also played for Greece's U-21 team for the first time .
