Ella Henderson (2014)

Ella Henderson (born January 12, 1996 in Tetney , Lincolnshire ; full name: Gabriella Michelle Henderson ) is an English singer-songwriter who became known in 2012 for her participation in The X Factor .

biography

Ella Henderson took part in the talent show The X Factor at the age of sixteen in 2012 and made it into the last six. Although she had been assessed as a possible candidate for victory, she got the fewest audience votes in this round and could not save herself even after the jump-off with the penultimate James Arthur . Arthur later won the season.

She signed a record deal with in the same year Sony Music and joined the label Syco Music of Simon Cowell on. In the following year, however, it was quiet about the singer except for occasional video publications on the Internet. She put together her debut album with producers such as Salaam Remi (including Amy Winehouse ) and Babyface and co-wrote all the songs. The release was postponed again and again, until the beginning of June 2014 her debut single Ghost was released . She wrote and recorded the song with Ryan Tedder . It immediately rose to number one on the UK and Irish charts.
