Elvira Lauscher (born May 26, 1965 in Ulm ) is a German writer, journalist, aphorist and artist.

Life

Elvira Lauscher grew up in Ulm and graduated from the technical college in Neu-Ulm. She completed an apprenticeship as a foreign language correspondent and a second apprenticeship as an advertising clerk . During her second training, she wrote as a freelancer for the Schwäbische Zeitung in Ulm.

Elvira Lauscher was from May 2004 to November 2008 for 28 editions editor in chief for the Ulmer beauty and lifestyle magazine planet X . Further publications in the Schwäbische Zeitung, Sozial Extra , Federwelt and in the Südwest Presse . Lyrik by Elvira Lauscher appeared in the Augsburger Allgemeine , the Schwäbische Zeitung and the German poetry calendar . Short stories and fairy tales were published in collections by the Stories und Friends publishing house , Heyne Verlag , Wurdack Verlag and Schwabenverlag .

Since 2006 Elvira Lauscher has formed the duo Wortkunstlauf with Jörg Neugebauer , which performs with theater programs and publishes recordings.

In the theater workshop in Ulm , which consists mainly of amateurs, she is part of the artistic advisory board and appears there in performances.

Elvira Lauscher is married, has a son and lives in Ulm.

Awards

  • 2000: 2nd place at the Story Olympiad for the short story The Lake of Infinite Dreams
  • 2004: 2nd place in the “Durchgeknallt” competition by Signatur eV with the short story Daddi's cloud bed
  • 2008: Co-winner of the "German Fantastic Prize 2008" for the fairy tale book Drachenstarker Feenzauber (Ed. Petra Hartmann) published by Wurdack-Verlag
