Jörg Neugebauer (Author)

Jörg Neugebauer (* 1949 in Braunschweig ) is a German author and poet . He lives in Neu-Ulm .

life and work

Growing up in Ulm / Danube , Neugebauer completed a humanities degree in Munich and Tübingen ( philosophy , German and history ). After that he worked for many years as a high school teacher.

Since he began to write around 2000, Neugebauer has published regularly, both in independent publications and in anthologies , in the German Poetry Calendar and in literary magazines such as besides . At Radio freeFM he is responsible for and moderates the one-hour program "Klassisch modern" every fortnight. He is also active as a reciter .

Neugebauer founded the small Railroadverlag based in Neu-Ulm, which previously published one of his books as a print and audio book edition.

In 2007, Neugebauer co-founded the reading and performance program “Wortkunstlauf”, together with Elvira Lauscher , which was performed on cabaret theaters in Ulm and Neu-Ulm.
