Emalahleni (English: Emalahleni Local Municipality ) is a municipality in the Nkangala district in the South African province of Mpumalanga . The seat of the municipality is eMalahleni . The community name means “coal” in isiZulu and isiNdebele . Another municipality in the Eastern Cape Province bears the same name.

The community is run by the African National Congress ; Mayoress is Lindiwe Ntshalintshali.
