Enio Girolami

Enio Girolami (also Ennio Girolami ; born January 14, 1935 in Rome ; † February 16, 2013 there ) was an Italian actor .

Life

Girolami played his first roles at the age of seventeen; After his successful debut in Fausto Saraceni's Fratelli d'Italia , he was seen in numerous films as a sometimes more, sometimes less sympathetic youth, occasionally also in the lead role. He also played with appropriate restraint in melodramatic scenes, which led to roles in some works by important directors such as Alberto Lattuada , Federico Fellini , Mauro Bolognini and Giuseppe De Santis . From 1960 he played mainly under his father, the director Marino Girolami , and later under his brother Enzo in numerous genre films, including ten spaghetti westerns . From 1973 onwards it was seen less often. The television series Il maresciallo Rocca offered him the last opportunity to act from 2001 to 2005.

In some films Girolami acted under the pseudonym Thomas Moore .
