Enrico Tach (born December 6, 1974 in Pieve di Cadore ) is a former Italian biathlete .

Enrico Tach lives in Sappada . He started biathlon in 1991. He made his debut in the Biathlon World Cup in Antholz at the end of the 1996/97 season . In his first individual, he was the 20th to win the first World Cup points. Shortly afterwards, the Italians took in Osrblie at the Biathlon World Championships 1997 in part. He was used in the team race with Hubert Leitgeb , Helmuth Messner and Pieralberto Carrara and achieved tenth place with them. Shortly after the World Cup, he achieved his best placement in the World Cup with Wilfried Pallhuber , Carrara and René Cattarinussi as the starting runner of a relay in Nagano . At the beginning of the 1998/99 season he ran in Hochfilzen on a 12th place and thus achieved his best result in a single race. In the overall ranking of the season, Tach was 44th and also achieved his best result of his career here. The next major event was the 2000 Biathlon World Championships at Holmenkollen in Oslo , where the Italian competed individually and finished in 64th place. A year later it was used in three races in Pokljuka . With a 57th place in the sprint, he was able to qualify for the pursuit of the best 60, in which he reached 59th place. With Patrick Favre , Pallhuber and Cattarinussi, he finished tenth in the relay race. In the further course of the season Tach also took part in the 2001 Military World Ski Championships in Jericho and was there 20th in the sprint race. The 2001/02 season was the last of the Italian. The highlight was the 2002 European Biathlon Championships in Kontiolahti . At the end of his career, Tach reached 49th place in the singles and was eleventh with Theo Senoner , Sergio Bonaldi and Christian Hofer as the last runner of the season.
