The Encyclopedia of Greco-Roman Antiquity ( EGRA ) is a continuously updated special encyclopedia on ancient history that has been published since 2007 , the individual volumes of which are created according to the concept of the Grundriss der Geschichte and Encyclopedia of German History series of the Oldenbourg Wissenschaftsverlag (since 2013 Verlag De Gruyter ). Accordingly, each volume is divided into three parts: An introductory overview (I. Encyclopedic Overview) is followed by an analyzing documentation of past and current research discussions (II. Basic problems and trends in research) and a thematically arranged selection bibliography (III. Literature) . The series published by Aloys Winterling in conjunction with Kai Brodersen , Martin Jehne and Winfried Schmitz is made up of 14 volumes.
