Erich Haberland

Erich Haberland (born September 19, 1903 in Dresden , † January 17, 1964 in Hanover ) was a German sculptor and entrepreneur .

Erich Haberland was a descendant of the company's founder Oswald Haberland , who had taken over the art foundry Pirner & Franz in Dresden in 1918 . He studied 1927–1928 at the Düsseldorf Art Academy and from 1929–1930 at the Bremen School of Applied Arts . He then worked as a freelance artist in Hamburg until 1934 . In 1934 Haberland moved to Hanover, where he also ran the HaberLand ore foundry with his brother Herbert Haberland . In the company, Erich Haberland was primarily responsible for chasing .
