Erlenbach is a district of Erbach in the Hessian Odenwaldkreis .

geography

Erlenbach is located in the valley of the stream of the same name in the red sandstone area of the Odenwald , 1.5 km southeast of the main town. There are no thoroughfares through the town.

history

The village was first mentioned in 1388. In 1939 the place had 304 inhabitants and belonged to the district of Erbach.

On December 31, 1971, Erlenbach was incorporated into the district town of Erbach.
