Ernst Werner Georg Waldemar von Heyden (born November 12, 1859 in Bredenfelde , † December 25, 1932 in Neustrelitz ) was a German administrative lawyer and landowner.

Life

Ernst Werner von Heyden was the only son of Ernst von Heyden (politician, 1817) and his second wife Charlotte (Lolo), nee. Baroness von Brandenstein (1831–1908). He was born two months after his father's death. His mother took over the management of the Bredenfelde manor and manor .

He was first taught by Ernst Haack with his sisters and then, supported by half a royal free space, attended the Ilfeld monastery school until he graduated from high school. He studied law at the Universities of Heidelberg, Leipzig, Berlin and finally Rostock from October 1881.

After completing his service as a one-year volunteer in the 2nd Grand Ducal Mecklenburg Dragoon Regiment No. 18 , he entered the state service of the Grand Duchy of Mecklenburg-Schwerin .

He was initially employed as an official assessor in Hagenow and administrative administrator in Wismar . On October 1, 1895, he was promoted to bailiff in the Domanialamt (village) Mecklenburg - Redentin - Poel , based in Wismar. In 1898 he moved to the Ministry of Finance in Schwerin as a lecturer. As such, he negotiated the State Treaty with Prussia on the abolition of the Mecklenburg State Lottery and the takeover of the Prussian Class Lottery on November 28, 1904. The agreement came into force on July 1, 1905.

At the same time he resigned from civil service; then he worked for the administration of the Mecklenburg property of the Princely House of Schaumburg-Lippe on Vietgest . After his mother's death in 1908, he inherited the Bredenfelde estate and took over its management. By the world economic crisis of 1929 heavily in debt, the estate Bredenfelde was on September 3, 1931 receivership provided and on 27 January 1932, the Mecklenburg Country Company sold that the 814 hectares large property with 48 newly created settlers points with a size of 7, 6 to 25 hectares. The mansion also had to be sold.

In 1889 he married Mary Elisabeth Friederike Thoma Mathilde Armgard, born in the castle church (Neustrelitz) . von Bülow (* 1869 in Lühburg ), a daughter of the Mecklenburg-Strelitz stable master Detlev von Bülow (1829–1886) on Klein Berkenthin.

Ernst Werner von Heyden died on December 25, 1932 in Neustrelitz and was buried on December 28, 1932 in the Dobbertin monastery cemetery.
