Erton Fejzullahu (born April 9, 1988 in Pristina , SFR Yugoslavia ) is a Swedish - Kosovar football player . In addition to the Swedish, he also has Kosovar and Albanian citizenship, and in January 2013 he made his debut for the Swedish national team . His traditional position is the storm, but he can also be used in attacking midfield.
Career
Fejzullahu was born in Pristina and spent his childhood and youth in Karlshamn , Sweden , where he played for Högadals IS . His talent was recognized early on and so he was finally signed by FC Copenhagen in 2005 . However, he was unable to assert himself there and then moved back to Sweden to Mjällby AIF . After a very successful season in 2009, in which he scored eleven goals in twelve games, it was announced that he was moving to the Dutch honor division at NEC Nijmegen for € 500,000 . He received a four-year contract until June 30, 2013. In January 2011 Fejzullahu was loaned to Randers FC in Denmark. After his return, the next loan period, which was agreed until the end of the 2011/12 season, followed in the summer to his old club Mjällby AIF.
At the end of July Fejzullahu returned permanently to Sweden and signed a four-year contract with the Stockholm club Djurgårdens IF . Under coach Magnus Pehrsson , he was a regular player right away and showed his goal risk, so that he - including the six goals scored in the first half of the season for Mjällby AIF - settled in the top of the scorers list for the 2012 season . With 13 goals this season, he was fifth on the top scorers list, helping his club to ninth place in the table. This performance was honored by national coach Erik Hamrén and he was nominated for an international trip in January. As part of the King's Cup , he made his debut in the Swedish national team, for the semi-final victory against North Korea on penalties , he contributed the goal to the 1-1 final at the end of regular time. He also succeeded on the offensive in the 3-0 final win against Finland , but remained without a goal of his own.
Also in the following season Fejzullahu was one of the club's top goalscorers with seven goals this season. After reaching the top of the scorers list with nine goals this season in the first half of the 2014 season , he aroused international interest. In late July he moved to the Chinese club Beijing Guoan on loan until the end of the year . There he was immediately one of the most dangerous strikers in the Chinese Super League, together with the Montenegrin Dejan Damjanović, who was also signed in the summer . He then moved there permanently, but has been playing for Dalian Transcendence since 2016 . He has been a Kosovar national player since 2015, when Kosovo beat the Equatorial Guinean national soccer team 2-0 on October 15 .
