Dejan Damjanović (born July 27, 1981 in Mostar , SFR Yugoslavia , now Bosnia-Herzegovina ) is a Montenegrin football player . He currently plays for Suwon Samsung Bluewings in the Korean K League Classic .

Career

His first professional station was FK Sinđelić Beograd. He came in 1996 from the youth of FK Dinamo Pančevo. In 1998 he made his professional debut.

Until 2006 he played for various clubs from Belgrade and was loaned to Al-Ahli in Saudi Arabia for half a year .

In 2007 he moved to Incheon United in the South Korean K-League . A year later he moved to FC Seoul . From 2008 to 2013 he played 181 games for FC Seoul and scored 116 goals. This makes him the best foreign striker in the K League Classic . In 2014 moved to the Chinese Super League to Jiangsu Sainty . In the same season he then moved on to Beijing Guoan . He completed 45 games for this club and scored 26 goals. In 2016 he returned to FC Seoul. On January 4, 2018, his arch rivals, Suwon Samsung Bluewings , announced the 36-year-old's move. In early 2020, he went to Daegu FC on a free transfer , where he made his debut on May 9, 2020 .

National team

On October 16, 2008 he played his first international match for the Montenegrin national soccer team against Italy . During qualifying for the 2010 World Cup, he scored his first two goals for the national team against Cyprus .
