It's about time is an album by the singer and songwriter Hannes Wader from 1980.
meaning
The album was best known for the title track It's About Time , which became an anthem for the peace movement . Millions of people sang the song at demonstrations. There are also three ballads, two political and two biographical songs on this album .
The songs “Now I have to go” and “Looking back” deal with problems in interpersonal relationships. The other political songs are "Hafenmelodie" and "Emma Klein". “Hafenmelodie” is about solidarity in industrial action. "Emma Klein" is about how monopolies drive smaller shops into bankruptcy and destroy jobs by eliminating the middle class .
