meaning

Wader tried to deal with old folk songs, which got into the right corner due to abuse by the National Socialists . Further interpretations of traditional German songs can be found on the albums Hannes Wader singt Arbeitserlieder (1977), Hannes Wader sings Shanties (1978) and Hannes Wader sings Volkslieder (1990).
