The Eschdell nature reserve is located in the Donnersbergkreis in Rhineland-Palatinate .

The approximately eight hectare area, which was placed under nature protection in 1981 , extends northwest of the local community of Dannenfels . The state road L 394 runs not far to the north. The Eschbach flows through the area.

The protection purpose is the preservation of the maple - ash ravine forest and the animal and plant communities bound to this biotope , in particular the extensive occurrence of the silver leaf (Lunaria rediviva), as well as the protection of the natural forest cells for scientific reasons.
