The Albertskreuz nature reserve is located in the Donnersbergkreis in Rhineland-Palatinate .

The 34.2 hectare area, which was placed under nature protection in 1956 , extends northwest of the core town of Kirchheimbolanden and west of the Haide district around the summit of the same name or trigonometric point (399.3 m) in the so-called Bürgerwald on the northern roof of the Donnersberg , North Palatinate Uplands . Directly on its eastern edge, the upper course of the Wiesbach near the source flows north. The state road L 399 runs about 1.3 km to the east, the L 404 about 1 km to the south; between the two the L 386 circles the area to the southeast.
