The Sippersfelder Weiher nature reserve is located in the Donnersbergkreis in Rhineland-Palatinate .

The approximately 40 hectare area, which was placed under nature protection in 1986 , extends southeast of the local community of Sippersfeld . The state road L 394 runs to the west. In the area through which the Pfrimm flows, there are four ponds . The natural monument “Pfrimmquelle” is located within the protected area .

The protection purpose is the preservation of the wetlands with the open water areas, silting zones and scrap forest remnants as well as the immediately adjacent forest areas as locations of rare plant species and plant communities , as habitats and partial habitats of rare animal species that are threatened in their existence and for scientific reasons.
