Maillet de Fourton had a daughter named Caecilie Maillet de Fourton , who had married the electoral Hanoverian and later royal British court conductor Jean Baptiste Vezin . Their daughter Maria Anna Francisca Vezin married the fountain master and hydraulic engineer Jean Joseph La Croix in 1774 in the Catholic Church of St. Clemens in Calenberger Neustadt .

Career

Maillet de Fourton privately operated the water art at Clevertor in Hanover , which fed the baroque Parnassus Fountain on Neustädter Markt and various aristocratic gardens on Herrenhäuser Allee and, from 1706 to 1731, the two elevated tanks in Herrenhausen , the Marinus Cadart on the Sandberg north of the Page house had laid out for the purpose of operating the water features in the Great Garden .
