European Acoustics Association

The European Acoustics Association (EAA, English for European Acoustics Society ) is a scientific professional association in the field of acoustics . It was founded in 1992 as a merger of the various national associations. Today 32 acoustic societies from Europe and neighboring countries are members of the EAA. These include the German Society for Acoustics (DEGA) , the Austrian Society for Acoustics (AAA-OeGA) and the Swiss Society for Acoustics (SGA-SSA) . The EAA also has 9,000 personal members.

The EAA is a member of the International Commission for Acoustics (ICA) and Initiative for Science in Europe (ISE) .
