European Darts Trophy

The European Darts Trophy is a ranking tournament of the European Darts Tour in darts, which is organized by the PDC .

history

The event was held for the first time in 2013. The venue was the RWE sports hall in Mülheim an der Ruhr until 2016 , and the Lokhalle in Göttingen since 2017 .

The reigning winner is Michael van Gerwen , who won the tournament for the first time in 2016.

format

The tournament will be played in a knockout system . Game mode is best of 11 legs in the first three rounds , best of 13 legs in the semifinals and best of 15 legs in the final . Each leg is played in double-out mode.

Prize money

A total of £ 135,000 in prize money will be awarded to the tournament. The prize money was distributed among the participants as follows:
