Ev-Katrin White

Ev-Katrin Weiß (born February 28, 1962 in Berlin ) is a German actress .

Life

Ev-Katrin Weiß comes from a family of artists. Her father Erhard Köster was an actor, her younger sister Gundula took up the same profession. Weiß learned her acting craft from 1980 to 1984 at the Babelsberg Film University . Stations of her stage career were the Theater Vorpommern in Greifswald and the Comödie Dresden , but mainly she has played at various Berlin theaters, namely at the Maxim-Gorki-Theater , the Theater im Palais , the Berliner Ensemble and the Theater am Kurfürstendamm , as well as at cultural Facilities such as the FEZ Wuhlheide and the Kulturbrauerei .

She had roles in the Shakespeare plays What you want and The Taming of the Shrew , in the Death of a Salesman by Arthur Miller , Amadeus by Peter Shaffer , in Franz Kafka's Metamorphosis or Franz Wittenbrink's recital Secretaries .

Her first work in front of the camera was in 1984 in the crime series The Public Prosecutor has the floor , in 1990 she appeared in two episodes of the series Polizeiruf 110 . After that she was occasionally seen as a guest in various series, her last role so far in the so-called Mumblecore film Love Steaks by Jakob Lass .

Ev-Katrin Weiß also works as a photographer. She lives in Berlin.
