Evelina Raselli (born May 3, 1992 in Poschiavo ) is a Swiss ice hockey player who has been playing for HC Lugano since 2008 .

life and career

Evelina Raselli grew up in Le Prese 50 meters from the local ice rink, where, influenced by her two brothers, she learned to play ice hockey at an early age on the Poschiavo boys' team. In order to better promote her talent, she played after stints with the juniors of Celerina and the juniors of EHC St. Moritz from 2008 at HC Lugano. When she switched to the traditional Ticino club, she benefited from contact with St. Moritz and former HC Lugano player Anita Crameri - Gian-Marco Crameri's wife and Claudio Micheli's sister .

During her three-year training at the commercial secondary school in Samedan , Raselli went to Lugano for the weekend every Friday evening , where she has lived since completing her training and works with an 80 percent job in a fiduciary office. She needs the remaining 20 percent for national team gatherings.

With HC Lugano, Evelina Raselli has so far won three championship and three runner-up titles. She has also been part of the Swiss national team since 2011 . In 2012, she represented Switzerland at the World Cup in Burlington , where she finished third and scored the last goal for Switzerland to win 6-2 in the third-place match against Finland . She also took part in the World Cup for Switzerland in 2011 , 2013 , 2015 , 2016 and 2017 . In 2014 Raselli won the bronze medal at the Olympic Winter Games in Sochi .
