Every thing will be fine is a 3D - Drama by Wim Wenders with James Franco and Charlotte Gainsbourg in the leading roles; Bjørn Olaf Johannessen wrote the script . The film had its premiere at the Berlinale 2015 in the competition out of competition and started in Germany on April 2, 2015. It is Wenders' first feature film since the Palermo Shooting (2008).

In snowy Quebec , a child drives the writer Tomas in front of the car on a sledge. He is deeply relieved when the boy is in shock but is fine. Tomas encourages the child, whose name is Christopher, and says the eponymous sentence: "Everything will be fine." When Tomas asks the boy up the driveway to the house where his mother, Kate, welcomes him this, however, appalled after her second son. It becomes clear that he was killed in the accident.
Under the emotional pressure of the accident, Tomas' relationship with Sara breaks up. He takes refuge in alcohol and makes a suicide attempt. He succeeds in starting a family with Ann and her daughter Mina, begins to write again and processes what he has experienced in a semi-biographical novel. Although this is a success, questions about his responsibility continue to torment him, also through sporadic contacts with his mother and Christopher.
About eleven years after the accident, Christopher asks for a meeting and accuses him of having found success as a writer as a result of the accident. The boy gains access to Tomas' house and urinates in his marriage bed. When Tomas finds out, they talk to each other, bring the mattress to air out in the garden and say goodbye with a hug the next morning.

The film received mixed reviews. At Metacritic , the film is rated 34/100 based on 5 reviews. The film service judged, however, that the film was a "masterfully staged contemplative drama that tells of a spiritual healing with many omissions, breaks and ellipses". The film subtly plays with the “artificiality of its images”, but also has “intense chamber play-like moments” thanks to outstanding actors.
The German Film and Media Assessment FBW in Wiesbaden awarded the film the rating particularly valuable.
