The nature reserve Eyachtal in the area of ​​the former district of Hechingen comprises the Eyachtal from Haigerloch- Stetten to the district border near Bad Imnau with parts of the Stunzach valley (from Gruol ) and the tributaries Butzengraben , Laibebach and Feldbach .

Landscape character

The valley floor is mostly used for agriculture or settled, while the valley slopes are largely forested. The Eyachtal is cut like a gorge up to Haigerloch and has some striking rock formations. The valley opens up more strongly between Haigerloch and Bad Imnau. State road 360 runs through the valley . The areas built in connection do not belong to the landscape protection area.

Contiguous protected areas

The lower reaches of the Stunzach belongs to the FFH area between Bisingen, Haigerloch and Rosenfeld . The Black Forest Middle / North nature park borders in the north . Several individual trees in the area are designated as natural monuments.
