The Loretto and Friedhof area is a landscape protection area in the area of ​​the city of Geislingen in the Zollernalb district that was designated by the Balingen District Office on January 12, 1960 .

location

The conservation area is north of Binsdorf . The area belongs mostly to the natural environment southwestern Albvorland .

Landscape character

The area extends from the Binsdorf cemetery in the south up to the Loretoberg and further to the boundary between Binsdorf and Gruol . Most of the area is forested. There is a small orchard meadow by the Loreto Chapel, to the east of the cemetery and along the cemetery avenue there are some meadows, some of which have the character of wet meadows .

Contiguous protected areas

In the southeast, the FFH area borders areas between Bisingen, Haigerloch and Rosenfeld .
