Ezra Miller
Ezra Matthew Miller (* the 30th September 1992 in New Jersey ) is American nationality and acting active, known for the films Meet the Rizzo (2009) We Need to Talk About Kevin (2011), The Perks of Being a Wallflower (2012) and Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them (2016).
Life
Ezra Miller grew up in Wyckoff , a community in Bergen County , New Jersey ( USA ). The mother Marta is a dancer; the father, Robert S. Miller, was a vice president and director of the adult books division of Walt Disney Corporation and is a publisher with Workman Publishing Company. Miller has two older sisters, Saiya and Caitlin. Miller describes himself as a Jew ; the father is Jewish, the mother Christian . Miller completed a vocal training and performed at the Metropolitan Opera . When he was 8, Miller appeared in the US premiere of Philip Glass' opera White Raven . Ezra Miller attended Hudson School until she was 17.
Career
Ezra Miller's career began in 2008 with a role in Antonio Campo's film Afterschool, in which Miller played a teenager attending private school. Miller then starred in the films Meet the Rizzos (2009) with Andy Garcia, Beware the Gonzo and Every Day Film . The latter two were shown at the Tribeca Film Festival . In the film We Need to Talk About Kevin , which caused a sensation at the Cannes Film Festival , Miller starred alongside Tilda Swinton and John C. Reilly. Ezra Miller also starred as Damien on the pay-TV Showtime- produced black-humor television series Californication . For two seasons Miller played the role of Tucker Bryant in the US series Royal Pains . In addition to Logan Lerman and Emma Watson , Miller has one of the leading roles, Patrick, in the film Maybe Better Tomorrow . The film is based on Stephen Chbosky's epistolary novel The Perks of Being a Wallflower .
As it became known in 2014, Ezra Miller will take on the role of the eponymous superhero Flash in the comic book adaptation Flashpoint . Miller was previously seen in this role in the films Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and Suicide Squad in 2016. In 2017, Miller starred in Justice League .
Private life
Miller is the drummer and singer for the New York band Sons of an Illustrious Father .
In June 2011, Miller was stopped at a police stop in Pittsburgh , Pennsylvania while filming Maybe Better Tomorrow , because Miller was in a car with a broken brake light. 20 grams of marijuana was discovered and Miller was fined $ 600 for the offense. Miller later commented on the incident, saying, "I don't think there is any reason I should hide the fact that I smoke marijuana. It is a harmless substance that enhances sensual perceptions. "
When asked if he was gay in 2012, Miller said, “I had a lot of, well, happy ending sleepovers in my early teens . My time of exploration - I think this is important. Anyone who has never had a homosexual moment is probably trying to evade dealing with a reality in their life. "
At the end of 2018, Miller identified himself as neither male nor female: “ Queer just means no, I don't do that. I don't identify as a man. I don't identify as a woman. I only identify as a person. ”Miller uses different pronouns in relation to himself in alternating ways . In an interview with GQ Style in November 2018, Miller describes his own gender identity as non-binary (gender-fluid) , flowing back and forth between the sexes.
