Critics' Choice Movie Awards 2012

The 2012 Critics' Choice Movie Awards were presented by the Broadcast Film Critics Association on January 12, 2012 at the Hollywood Palladium Theater on Sunset Boulevard in Los Angeles , California . At the 17th awards ceremony, the critics recognized the best achievements of the 2011 film year . The ceremony was moderated by Rob Huebel and Paul Scheer and broadcast live on the US cable channel VH1 .

The nominations for this year's 24 categories were announced on December 13, 2011.
