history
After the re-nationalization, FMA started again with the development of a training aircraft for the first time in 25 years. The machine is to replace the aging Beechcraft T-34 as a beginner's training aircraft. Two prototypes and 50 series aircraft are to be produced for the Fuerza Aérea Argentina . Interest in purchasing the machine should also exist in Ecuador and Venezuela , possibly also in Brazil .
construction
The IA-73 is a fully aerobatic machine that is designed as a low-wing aircraft and has a non-retractable nose wheel landing gear. The aircraft will be made almost entirely of composite materials and have a glass cockpit with Israeli avionics. The pilots sit behind one another in a tandem configuration under a one-piece cockpit hood.
