The FMA Ae.C.2 is a multi-purpose aircraft produced by the Argentine manufacturer Fábrica Argentina de Aviones .

History and construction

The Ae.C.2 is the second aircraft developed in Argentina and a further development of the FMA Ae.C.1 . She was also designed as a low-wing aircraft and had a non-retractable tail landing gear. Depending on the version, the aircraft has either two open cockpits in tandem configuration or one closed cabin. Only the prototype was a single-seater. The aircraft were powered by a Wright R-760 seven-cylinder radial engine with 180 kW. In some versions, the engine was covered with a NACA hood .
