The FMA I.Ae. 25 Mañque was a cargo ship made by the Argentine manufacturer Fábrica Argentina de Aviones .
history
After cargo gliders were successfully used in Europe by the Allies , the Argentine air force command commissioned FMA in 1944 to develop its own model.
construction
The construction was very similar to the American Waco CG-4A . The Mañque was a braced high- wing aircraft with a rectangular hull cross-section and a wooden frame covered with fabric. The I.Ae. 25 could carry thirteen fully armed soldiers in addition to the two-man crew. However, the project ended after just one test flight.
