Fabrice Begeorgi (born April 20, 1987 in Martigues ) is a French football player . For a long time he played mainly in the position of the left winger, but during his time at Werder Bremen he mostly played as a left full-back .
Career
Begeorgi only started playing football at his hometown club, FC Martigues , before moving to Marseille to Olympique as a youth . There he was already in the 2005/06 season at the age of 19 twice in the UEFA Cup when the regular strikers of the first team had failed. The following year he was loaned out by the South of France to gain experience and went to FC Libourne-Saint-Seurin in the 2nd division . There he was also used regularly and played a successful season, whereupon Marseille offered him a professional contract.
Despite the contract, he only played on loan in League 2 for another year, but only made a few appearances due to a torn cruciate ligament . In 2008 he was sent again to another club, this time abroad to Germany to the second division club TuS Koblenz ; however, the contract was terminated in early 2009. He was then awarded to Werder Bremen , where he was mainly intended for the second team, but also belonged to the squad of the first team. However, he did not play in the Bundesliga.
For the 2009/10 season Begeorgi's contract in Marseille was dissolved, he moved to Ligue 2 for FC Istres . Since 2010 he has been playing for league rivals AC Ajaccio . There he was initially a regular player and celebrated promotion to Ligue 1 with the team in 2011 , but was then only used sporadically, also because he was out for a long time during the 2011/12 season due to a cruciate ligament rupture. He then did not make his way back to the first team and decided in September 2013 to move to third division club ES Uzès Pont du Gard on loan . He returned to Ajaccio, which had just been relegated from Ligue 1, in the summer of 2014. The 2014/15 season ended only with staying in class. He was then without a club for half a year before the Romanian first division club Petrolul Ploiesti signed him . There he and his team could not avoid relegation in 2016 . In summer 2016 he moved to the Andorran club UE Engordany . A year later he joined the French fourth division club US Le Pontet . Since summer 2018 he has been playing in Andorra again , this time with UE Sant Julià .
