action

Vince Carden hates the Indians and, as a large landowner, owns the lands from which he drove them. The government sends the cavalry to pacify the area; when Carden learns that there is a plan to provide the tribe with a reservation, he intensifies his grueling ventures; he blames the Indians for a stagecoach attack he has undertaken.

When the long-absent brother of Vince, Paul, returns home, a rivalry that arose in earlier years flares up again for someone they admire. However, they team up to save the settlers on the Forge River from an attack by the Apaches. Then they face each other in a duel.

criticism

The New York Times stated, “Nothing in the movie really works; but you can't quite condemn a film that plays with flashbacks so enthusiastically, offers such super-empathetic figure drawings and reveals all the beloved stereotypes. "The lexicon of international films saw a" technically average Western Schnulze. "Cinema.de provides the "Dirty and mean" role of Savalas out. The evangelical film observer doesn't think much of the film : "The old western story of the enemy brothers, lame and clichéd and unnecessarily spoiled by a series of badly placed flashbacks."
