Before the 2015 territorial reform, Fatuquero had an area of ​​12.64 km². Now there are 11.32 km². The Suco Fatuquero is located in the south of the Railaco administrative office. To the north is the Suco Liho , east of the Suco Railaco Craic and west of the Suco Tocoluli . In the south, Fatuquero borders the administrative office of Ermera with its sucos Lauala and Riheu . The northern border is formed by the Buamara River and the southern border by the Gleno River . The Maurotieramata , which crosses the southeast of Fatuquero, flows into the Gleno . The Gleno belongs to the Lóis system , the Buamara to the Comoros system .

The highways lead through Fatuquero from the municipal capitals Aileu in the east and Gleno in the south, which lead to Dili in the north. The villages of Caitarahei ( Kaitarahei ) and Fatada are on the road from Aileu in the north of Sucos . In the south, at the confluence of the Rio Gleno and Maurotieramata, is the place Palimano ( Falimano ) and in the south-west on the road to Gleno the village of Aihatutu ( Aihautu ). There is a primary school in Caitarahei and in Palimano. Gleno Prison is located on Rua Aldeia Palimano and is one of the most important prisons in East Timor.

In the Suco are the two Aldeias Caitarahei and Palimano .

2371 inhabitants live in the Suco (2015), of which 1230 are men and 1141 women. The population density is 209.4 inhabitants / km². There are 488 households in the Suco. Almost 89% of the population name Tetum Prasa as their mother tongue. More than 9% speak Mambai .

politics

In the 2004/2005 elections , Ricardo Soares was elected Chefe de Suco. In the 2009 elections , Alberto Oliveira won .
