content

It tells the story of Feivel, the mouse wanderer and his friends, he is bored of his life in the city of New York , when Tony comes along, who one day happens to come across a treasure map and persuades him to start a new adventure. Tony and Feivels father work in a cheese factory, where the working atmosphere is very bad and harassment from their superiors is the order of the day. To distract themselves from everyday life, Tony and Feivel explore the New York subway tunnels, where one day they find a treasure map of the Native Americans. Professor Tatterich deciphered the map as the work of the first inhabitants of Manhattan. Together they go in search of the Indian tribe, but the shady bosses of the cheese factory where Feivel's father works get wind of the matter and want to snatch the treasure of the Indians, who have withdrawn there from the newcomers . Feivel and his friends absolutely want to prevent this. Since the other mice, above all the factory owner Raffke and police chief Rabiato, conjure up prejudices against the strangers, there are riots against the Indians. To protect them, Feivel and his friends blow up the entrances to the caves. In the end, the factory owners see their mistakes and agree to form a union in their cheese factory.
