Lacey Chabert (2007)

Lacey Nicole Chabert (born September 30, 1982 in Purvis , Mississippi ) is an American film and television actress and voice actress.

Life

Chabert made her first stage experience with her role as Cosette in the musical Les Misérables on Broadway .

She became known through her role as Claudia Salinger in the TV drama Party of Five . From 1998 she was the English dubbing voice of Eliza Thornberry in the animation series Expedition of the Gooseberries . She also played this role in the two films for the series - Adventures of the Gooseberry Family (2002) and The Rugrats on the Move (2003). The character of Megan Griffin in the first season of the cartoon series Family Guy was also voiced by her. In 2004 she became better known for her role as Gretchen Wieners in the high school comedy Mean Girls . Her work includes more than 130 film and television productions.

An extraordinary role was that of Brooke Ellison in The Brooke Ellison Story , a film directed by Christopher Reeve , which he produced shortly before his death. Chabert played Brooke Ellison , a neck-down woman who has to overcome a number of obstacles on her way to graduation from Harvard .

Awards

From 1993 to 1999 she was nominated six times for the Young Artist Award .

She won the Hollywood Reporter's Annual YoungStar Award in both 1997 and 1998 for her role in Party of Five .

In 2005, Chabert won the MTV Movie Award for Best Film Team in Girls Club together with Lindsay Lohan , Rachel McAdams and Amanda Seyfried - be careful! (Original title: Mean Girls ).
