Felix Everding

Felix Everding (* 1989 in Munich ) is a German actor and translator.

Life

Felix Everding is the grandson of the director and theater manager August Everding . He grew up in his native Munich, where he attended the Rudolf Steiner School. He stood on stage for the first time at the age of 11. Then he was a member of a children's and youth theater group for a few years. At the age of 19 he went to New York and took acting classes there in 2009 at Terry Schreiber Studio, New York. After his community service , which he did in Munich in 2010, he returned to New York at the end of 2010 to continue his acting studies. From September 2010 to September 2011 he studied at the New York Film Academy - School of Film and Acting, where he obtained his acting diploma; From February 2012 to August 2012 he was at The Acting Studio Inc. for further training.

In New York he took part in various theater productions and in some student films. During his time in New York he came into contact with the American playwright Bill C. Davis . He took part in readings of Davis' play Mass Appeal (English title: And with Your Spirit or The Priest Maker ). In fall 2012 he worked as an assistant director on a production of Davis' play Mass Appeal at the New Theater in Dublin . In the spring of 2013 Everding appeared in the role of Mark Dolson in Mass Appeal at the Mill Theater in Dublin and the Arts Theater in Cork . In the fall of 2014 he played the lead role as Axel Bauer in a workshop production of Bill C. Davis' new play Fatherland at the Sheen Center in New York City.

Davis entrusted Everding with the translation of his play Coming2Terms into German. Everding has meanwhile also submitted a new translation of Mass Appeal , which was published by S. Fischer Verlag . From summer 2014 Everding began translating another play by Bill C. Davis, with the working title The Sex King , which later appeared under the title Escorting The Verdict .

Everding has already worked in several cinema and television productions. In February 2016 Everding was seen in the ZDF crime series SOKO Munich in an episode role; he played the young scientist Viktor Siegmann. From June to November 2016 Everding took on one of the leading roles as Dennis Grabowski in the 13th season of the ARD series Rote Rosen ; He played a school failure who at first can neither read nor write, and who is financially afloat as a clearer and owner of a repair shop.

In the TV thriller Reich oder tot , which premiered at the Hamburg Film Festival in autumn 2017 , Everding played the bank robber Randy Schenker alongside Lorna Ishema , Narges Rashidi and Sahin Eryilmaz . Everding played the male lead, the groom Paul, in the “ ZDF Heart Cinema” television film The Bride from the Götakanal (first broadcast: October 2018) from the Inga Lindström television series. In the ZDF crime series Under Other Circumstances , alongside Nicole Beutler and Simon Hatzl , in the television film Im sinsteren Tal (first broadcast: March 2019) he embodied the rich, former London investment banker Christoph Siewert, the "prodigal son" of one 30 years ago raped maid who comes under suspicion. In the 17th season of the ZDF television series SOKO Cologne (March 2019), Everding, alongside Stephan Bissmeier , took on one of the main episode roles as a young, ambitious lawyer who mistakenly believes that he has killed his best friend.

Everding lives in Munich.
