Felix Raffel

Felix Raffel (born December 8, 1983 in Neumünster ) is a German film composer and pianist .

Life

Felix Raffel studied piano from 2003 to 2008 at the Hanover University of Music, Drama and Media with Heidi Köhler and from 2007 to 2011 film music at the Babelsberg Film School with Ulrich Reuter and Bernd Wefelmeyer . He completed his studies there in 2011 as a graduate film composer and in 2014 as a master class student.

In 2011 Raffel received a scholarship from the Paul Woitschach Foundation to take part in the film music course at the Aspen Music Festival and School and in 2012 took part in the renowned ASCAP workshop in Los Angeles .

In addition to his compositional work, he is active as a pianist and musical director in various theaters, including a. in the Volksbühne on Rosa-Luxemburg-Platz , at Heimathafen Neukölln , the Rigiblick Theater or at the Berlin improvisation theater Die Gorillas .
