Ferdinand Nemitz

Ferdinand Nemitz (born September 10, 1805 in Labes , Pomerania , † April 17, 1886 in Stargard ; full name Ferdinand Albert Gustav Nemitz ) was a German lawyer and member of the Frankfurt National Assembly .

Life

After the early death of his father, who was the mayor of justice in Labes, Ferdinand Nemitz was brought up in the Halle orphanage . From 1822 to 1825 he studied at the University of Halle , where he joined the Halle fraternity in 1822 , and law at the University of Greifswald . From 1826 he worked as an auscultator and trainee lawyer in Nörenberg , Jakobshagen and Stettin . In 1833 he became city judge in Altdamm and in 1844 District Justice Council in Plathe . In 1849 he became district court director in Cammin and from 1850 in Greifenberg . In 1875 he received the title of Privy Councilor of Justice. During the reorganization of the judiciary in Prussia in 1879, he was put up for disposition . He moved to Stargard, where he died in 1886.

Political career

In 1848 he was elected to the Frankfurt National Assembly for the 6th constituency of the province of Pomerania ( Dramburg ) , to which he was a member from May to September of the same year. He belonged to the casino faction. His successor was Emil Rahm .

From 1859 to 1863 he was a member of the Prussian House of Representatives . There he belonged to the Vincke faction until 1862 , then temporarily to the right-wing, before he joined the Free Parliamentary Association in 1863.
