Festival du cinéma nordique
The Festival du cinéma nordique ( German : Festival of Nordic Films ) was a French film festival that took place in the Norman port city of Rouen every year from 1988 to 2010 in mid-March . Along with the Nordic Film Days in Lübeck, it was one of the few major film festivals in Europe devoted to films from the Nordic and Baltic states (since 1990). Films from the Netherlands and Belgium have also been shown since 1998 . The "Grand Jury Prize" (Grand Prix du jury) were feature films awarded in these countries. After a dispute with the city of Rouen, the organizers announced the end of the festival in December 2010 and it has not taken place since then.
