Moscow Covered Bridge

The Flatrock River is the left headwaters of the East Fork White River in the US state of Indiana . It has a length of 142 km. Its catchment area covers an area of ​​around 1390 km². The mean discharge at the Columbus gauge near the mouth is 17.9 m³ / s.

The Flatrock River has its source in the town of Mooreland in Henry County in eastern Indiana. It flows mainly in a south-westerly direction. The town of New Castle is west of the upper reaches. The Flatrock River flows through Counties Henry, Rush , Decatur , Shelby and Bartholomew . The village of Lewisville, the small town of Rushville and the village of St. Paul lie on the river . Eventually the Flatrock River reaches the city of Columbus , where it meets the Driftwood River and merges with it to form the East Fork White River.
