Flomena Chepchirchir (born December 1, 1981 ) is a Kenyan long-distance runner who specializes in road running.

In 2002 she won the Cursa Bombers and in 2002 and 2003 the Zaragoza Half Marathon.

In 2006 she won the Stadsloop Appingedam and came fourth in the Great Scottish Run . In the following year he won the half marathon competition of the Utrecht Marathon , the 25 km from Berlin and the Zwolle half marathon, a second place in the Alsterlauf and a fourth place in the Dam tot Damloop .

In 2008 she won the Venloop and the Zwitserloot Dak Run, defended her titles in Utrecht and Zwolle, came second in the 25 km from Berlin and fourth in the Great Scottish Run.

At the start of the 2011 season, she managed a leap in performance at the CPC Loop Den Haag , which she won in 1:09:06 h. After a third place in the Rabat half marathon , she won again in the 25 km in Berlin and in Zwolle. A second place at Stadsloop Appingedam and a third place at Kärnten runs was followed by a victory at the Great Scottish Run. In her debut over the 42.195 km distance, she came third in the Frankfurt Marathon .

In 2012 she finished fourth in the Egmond Half Marathon , tenth in the Seoul International Marathon and second in the Prague Marathon . A victory in the Lille half marathon was followed by fourth place in the Berlin marathon .

In 2013, after finishing second at the Egmond Half Marathon in Seoul, she achieved her first victory over the marathon distance. She finished third in the Zwolle half marathon, second in the Dam tot Damloop and second in the Frankfurt marathon.

Flomena Chepchirchir is 1.65 m tall and weighs 43 kg. She lives in Embu and is looked after by Volare Sports .
