Florian Kettemer (born June 10, 1986 in Kaufbeuren ) is a German ice hockey player who was most recently under contract with the Eisbären Berlin in the DEL .

Career

Kettemer's first appearance in the second Bundesliga ice hockey league was in the 2004/05 season at the age of 17 for his home club, ESV Kaufbeuren . Until the descent of the ESVK in the 2006/07 season , Kettemer continued to play for Kaufbeuren until he moved to the EHC Munich in the 2007/08 season, for which he also played in the 2008/09 season.

Kettemer won over the fans with his serenity on the defensive and also proved his wit on the offensive, whereby he was voted Player of the Month for October (2009) by the EHC fans. He ran there with the number 69 on his back, and he also had a production license with the Augsburg Panthers , to which he then switched for the 2009/10 season.

At the Germany Cup in November 2010, he played his first international match for Germany.

From 2011 to 2014 Kettemer played for the DEL club of Adler Mannheim . He then moved back to Munich and stayed there until the end of the 2017/18 DEL season. He won the German championship title three times in a row with the Red Bulls . Since he did not receive a new contract in Munich in the summer of 2018, he switched to the Eisbären Berlin within the DEL .
