Florimond Joseph Cornellie (born May 1, 1894 in Antwerp , † 1978 ) was a Belgian sailor .

Florimond Cornellie which for the Royal Yacht Club Oostende sailed, was in 1920 in Antwerp at the Olympic Games in the 6-meter class after the International Rule of 1907 Olympic champion . He was a crew member of the Edelweiß II alongside Frédéric Bruynseels , and his father Émile Cornellie was the skipper . The Edelweiß II had three competitors in three races and took second place in the first and third races and first place in the second. With five points overall, Cornellie finished the regatta in first place ahead of the two Norwegian boats Marmi and Stella .
