Frédéric-Albert Gustave Bruynseels (born July 13, 1888 in Antwerp , † October 10, 1959 ) was a Belgian sailor .

Frédéric Bruynseels, who for the Royal Yacht Club Oostende sailed, was in 1920 in Antwerp at the Olympic Games in the 6-meter class after the International Rule of 1907 Olympic champion . He was a crew member of the Edelweiss II alongside Florimond Cornellie , the skipper was his father Émile Cornellie . The Edelweiß II had three competitors in three races and took second place in the first and third races and first place in the second. With five total points, Bruynseels finished the regatta in first place ahead of the two Norwegian boats Marmi and Stella .
