Florin Lovin (born February 11, 1982 in Piatra Neamț ) is a former Romanian football player .
Club career
FCM Bacau
Lovin played in the youth teams of FCM Bacau until 2002 . On May 25, 2002 he made his debut in Divizia A when he was substituted on in the game at FC Național Bucharest . By December 2004, he played a total of 50 games for FCM Bacau and scored one goal.
Steaua Bucharest
For the second half of the 2004/05 season, Lovin moved to league rivals Steaua Bucharest . By 2009 he played 103 league games there and scored three goals. He was also used 18 times in the UEFA Cup and 14 times in the UEFA Champions League . In 2005 and 2006 he won the Romanian championship title with Steaua, and in 2006 he also won the Romanian Super Cup.
TSV 1860 Munich
In the summer of 2009 he moved to the German second division club TSV 1860 Munich . He signed a contract there until 2012. On September 13, 2009, Florian Lovin suffered a torn cruciate ligament and ankle ligament in his right knee in the game against Greuther Fürth. After this injury, it took 228 days until he was back on the pitch in a league game on April 18, 2010. In the first half of the following season 2010/11 he was used regularly. In the second half of the season he was ousted from his traditional position in defensive midfield by young players like Dominik Stahl , Kai Bülow and Christopher Schindler . He will play his last of a total of 17 season games on February 14th in Aue , after which he just sat on the bench. On May 17, 2011, the contract was terminated by mutual agreement. Lovin played a total of 26 league and three cup games for TSV 1860 Munich.
AO Kerkyra
For the 2011/12 season Lovin moved to the first Greek division to AO Kerkyra . He signed a two-year contract with the Greek first division club. After just six months he left Greece and joined Kapfenberger SV in the Austrian Bundesliga . After the relegation of the Upper Styrians , he moved to SV Mattersburg .
Return to Romania
In January 2014 Lovin returned to Oțelul Galați in his Romanian homeland. In the summer of 2014 he was briefly without engagement before CS Concordia Chiajna signed him . In the summer of 2015 he moved to Astra Giurgiu , where he won the championship in 2016 and ended his career at the end of the 2017/18 season.
